Formula
Volume = length × width × depth, after converting inches to feet. One cubic yard equals 27 cubic feet; bag quantity rounds up from the product yield.
Recommended workflow
- Measure the actual pour area at several points.
- Enter the average finished depth in inches.
- Check yield on the specific bag or confirm bulk-order rounding with the supplier.
Limitations
Material estimate only, not structural advice. Slab thickness, reinforcement, soil preparation, drainage, and code requirements must be appropriate for the actual project.
